  • Associations: Superstitions Horsemen's Association member, served as President 1997-2006; Arizona Horse Council member and current President; and is a board member of the East Valley Back Country Horsemen.

  • Family: Married to Ed. They have four children, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
  • Work: Retired English teacher for Mesa Public Schools and CAC, Reporter with the Apache Junction News. Previously worked at the Apache Junction Police Department.

  • Born in Irwin Pennsylvania, graduated Norwin Senior High.
  • Licensed Realtor since 1987, earned both the GRI (Graduate of Real Estate Institute) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designations.
  • EAGALA certified horse specialist, for the use of Equine Psychotherapy for humans.
  • Member of Pinal Partnership, Pinal Partnership Open Space Committee, founding member of Superstition Mountain Promotional Corporation, past member of SALT, past member of Superstition Horsemen Association, current Vice-President of Don's of Arizona, founder of The Whole Kit and Kaboodle (free clothing and household items for those who need a little extra help), and one of three individuals that have worked for three years on the first community garden in Apache Junction.

  • I earned a BS degree in accounting, finance, and economics from Northern State University, Aberdeen SD in 1985.
  • 2013-2016 served on the Superstition Mountain Community Facility District #1 (Sewer District)
  • 2009-2016 served on the Apache Junction’s Industrial Development and Municipal Facilities Corp boards
  • 2011-2013 Served on the Apache Junction Parks and Recreation board
  • Currently Co-chairman of the Focal Point Enhancement Committee since 2011
  • I serve on the boards of Kiwanis Club of Apache Junction, Superstition Mountain Republican Club, AZ Justice Center and the Fire and Water International Church.
