The inviting atmosphere in the fitness area and the camaraderie in the group fitness classes are what set us apart. We strive to create enjoyable fitness opportunities for every member of the family, young and old. Our knowledgeable staff will keep you abreast of the latest in fitness trends and research. It is our purpose to pass that knowledge on to the participants so that they too may become better educated on how to take care of their physical health. Small group training

Small Group Personal Training

If you are looking to lose weight, increase your strength or change your training routine, then Small Group Personal Training is for you! Small Group Personal Training is an effective way to increase your results, have a coach design your workouts, instruct correct form, and meet new people in a high energy environment. These sessions will give you the personalized attention you want and you get to work out your friends, family or people of similar fitness levels or goals.

Fit Families is a program designed to encourage and support families in spending more time together and making healthier life choices. It takes GREAT partners to make this program work! Fitness Exploration for Homeschoolers

Fitness Exploration for Homeschoolers incorporates a variety of physical activities that will encourage homeschooled kids to live active lifestyles and build healthy habits. Activities will include but aren't limited to: games, sport introductions, strength training, coordination and cardiovascular exercises. The possibilities for fitness FUN are endless!

Check out our Fit Family Calendar for all of the latest fitness classes offered at the MGC!  Most of our fitness classes require an MGC membership ($16/month for youth) or a daily drop in fee ($3/day).

Girls On the Run®

Girls on the Run® (GOTR)is a non-profit program that encourages preteen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. The program combines training for a 5k running event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workouts and curriculum-based lessons on themes such as dealing with body image and the media, resisting peer pressure, making healthy decisions and contributing to the community. Open to all 3rd-5th grade girls, this program will be held at the MGC and will culminate in a season ending 5k Run/Walk.

Heart & Sole®
Today's middle-school girls face many challenges and obstacles that can affect their emotional and physical well-being. The Heart & Sole curriculum is designed to address these challenges by empowering them to make thoughtful and healthy decisions. Like Girls on the Run, the Heart & Sole curriculum is delivered over the course of 10 to 12 weeks and addresses the societal, mental and emotional challenges particular to 6th-8th graders and will culminate in a season ending 5k Run/Walk.

Youth Run Series

Participate in 3 out of the 4 family friendly events October-January and receive a free registration in to the 2-Mile Fun Run at the Lost Dutchman Marathon in February (or a discount for the 8k run).

Can’t make all of our events? Post a photo of you from other running events you took part in between Oct. and Feb. on our Your Run Series Facebook Event page and we’ll count that as one of your qualifying events.
