Meridian Drive Repaving Project
Maricopa County Department of Transportation will be raising manholes for Meridian Drive repaving project.

Lane Closure and Restriction Advisory
The raising of manholes and water valves for the Meridian Drive repaving project  from Southern Ave to Lost Dutchman will be continuing tomorrow, June 17th and Thursday, June 18th (weather permitting).  Lane restrictions and periodic lane closures can be expected on this segment of Meridian Dr. during daylight hours.

Apache Trail Road Improvements
Apache Trail Road improvements from Meridian to Idaho Road is in its final stages of completion.  Concrete and paving is complete.  Remaining work items include finishing utility manhole adjustments to pavement level, lane striping on the pavement and placing traffic signal detector loops.

Traffic barricading will be in place throughout the construction area to assist with traffic flow and provide safety to the public and the construction workers.  The barricading will be monitored daily by the contractor and by the City, and changes will be made as needed during the course of construction.  Traffic restrictions will include lane closures. 

Due to the nature of the work proposed for this project, the City recommends motorists use alternate roads if possible to avoid the construction area.  The City apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this may cause the driving public. We appreciate your patience and together with you look forward to a newly reconstructed Apache Trail!

Intersection Re-Striping Project

Crosswalks and other street markings will be refreshed starting Monday, May 18th and Tuesday, May 19th from 8:00pm to 6:00am (weather permitting).  This work will entail restricting lanes and/or closing of lanes to allow the work to be done.  Streets and intersections will be open to all traffic and emergency responders.

    - Ironwood Drive/Superstition Boulevard
    - Broadway Avenue/San Marcos Drive
    - Broadway Avenue/Delaware Drive
    - Broadway Avenue/Phelps Drive
    - Superstition Boulevard/Delaware Drive
    - Superstition Boulevard/Idaho Road
    - Tomahawk Road/Old West Highway
