Signage is an important feature at a business' physical location. It provides an opportunity to make a first impression, intrigue and invite customers to visit and frequent your establishment, and develop a brand that can be carried through by incorporating with other supporting advertising efforts.
The City of Apache Junction recognizes our business community's need for effective, professional signage and have supported - through our Zoning Code - a variety of signage options. These options provide businesses a palate of choices to meet the business' needs, with certain restrictions to maintain quality and prevent signage from becoming cluttered, unsafe and a detriment to Apache Junction's business culture.
In an effort to better help inform our business community of signage opportunities, we've created a general information brochure on signage types that are appropriate and supported through the City's Sign Code. Although this is a summarized version of the regulations, it does include most commercial Zoning Districts. If you're in a Zoning District not listed, a City Planner would be happy to help you identify sign allowances in your zone. Visit us at 300 East Superstition Boulevard or call (480) 474-5083.
