Entrepreneurship

The City of Apache Junction Economic Development Department and the Apache Junction Public Library have partnered with Arizona State University to advance and promote local innovation and entrepreneurship through knowledge sharing. To support local entrepreneurs, the city will offer ASU Startup School workshops. The ASU Startup School is a comprehensive and proven framework for developing ventures. ASU Startup School is a series of facilitated workshops wherein entrepreneurs learn what they need to do in order to develop a successful venture. The ASU Startup School workshops are delivered in a sequence six workshops designed to walk a new entrepreneur or existing business through idea and product development, customer discovery and acquisition, profit mastery, and growth hacking.

The Economic Development Department will be offering the series every other month beginning August 2016. The series consists of 6 classes that will be held once per week for six weeks. Classes will be scheduled for Wednesday at 10am and will be held at the Library. To register please contact Elan Vallender at evallender@ajcity.net or in person at the Library.
