Upcoming Event Partnership Opportunities

Fit Families Mud Run
Mud Run, Obstacle Course, Survivor Run, Adventure Race... An event by any other name just isn't the same as one put on by the Apache Junction Parks and Recreation team. While these themed runs continue to grow in popularity, they've all but excluded youth and families. The Apache Junction Parks and Recreation's Fit Families Mud Run has become a signature event for families in the East Valley. The obstacles created for the Fit Families Mud Run are age appropriate in their distances, challenges, and safety; the obstacles are designed for maximum mud and minimum danger! The net result is a great day for young and young at heart; the oldest participant was 70 years young and the youngest participant was barely two years old! Click here for more information.

Republic Services
One of the city's strongest partners over the last several years has been Republic Services. When economic times were really bad and the city was faced with cancelling its annual 4th of July fireworks display, Republic Services stepped in and saved the day! For eight years, Republic Services has provided the funds so that Apache Junction could provide one of the best fireworks displays in the Valley of the Sun. Republic Services continues to support the Apache Junction community in many other ways including neighborhood clean-ups, residential clean-ups, and providing recycling information to local students.
