Join the City of Apache Junction Parks & Recreation on Saturday, December 2nd for this award winning, FREE downtown event! The event will take place at Flatiron Park at 100 N. Apache Trail. There will be lots of activities throughout the evening for the whole family!
Activities include: Santa, vendor booths, arts and crafts, games, music, 30 feet of snow, inflatables, food, tree lighting at the Focal point and will conclude with the annual light parade.
Most of the youth activities will be free but there will be vendors and food options. The snow area is broken up into two age groups, one for the littles and one for older kids. We expect line wait times to be anywhere from 20-40 minutes, depending on the number of attendees. We recommend wearing gloves and hats-it is real snow.
Join Mayor Serdy at the focal point to help light up the town! The tree lighting will begin around 6:30pm. Then join us for the light parade.
The light parade starts at 7pm. It begins at Phelps/Main Street heads west to Thunderbird, turns and comes back to Phelps Road. Expect road closures will be from Idaho to Ironwood from about 5pm to 10pm or until roads are clear and can safely be open.
Parking at the event. There will be parking in the dirt lots east of the Park, please don't park in areas designated for business. We recommend not using North Apache Trail for a pass through, as this area will be slowed and will have pedestrian traffic. You will not be able to exit to Main street from North Apache Trail after 5pm. Please view the map for further details.
Promote your local business or non-profit agency during the event! This is a great time to kick off holiday deals and give out samples/coupons! There is no charge for business located in the City limits. Booths outside the City limits will need to pay a $25/space booth fee and any fees associated with the required event licensing.

Enjoy an Apache Junction Main Street tradition - the 20th Annual Holiday Light Parade will take place on Apache Trail between Phelps and Thunderbird. Parade begins at 7:00pm.

Help us collect non-perishable food for our neighbors in need. Please donate 1 non-perishable food item in lieu of admission fee. All items will be donated to the Apache Junction Food Bank and will be put to good use immediately in feeding the hungry in our area.
