Every summer on the Fourth of July, Parks and Rec hosts a Co-Ed Sand Volleyball Tournament at the Superstition Shadows Aquatic Center. Many teams come out for fun in the sun and play some fantastic volleyball. Due to its high popularity, Parks and Recreation has decided to host a Co-Ed Sand Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, March 24. This is the first time the Aquatic Center has hosted a single-day volleyball tournament outside of July 4. Teams will compete 4-on-4, with at least one female on the court at all times, in a double-elimination format. Rosters can have up to six players and is open to those 18 years of age and older. The fee to play is $100 per team. Fans are more than welcome to come cheer on their favorite team. Please note the pool will not be open for use by players or spectators.
