May is National Water Safety Month and Superstition Shadows Aquatic Center is getting ready to open for the 2018 season. Please remember when purchasing lifejackets and flotation devices for your kids that you look for the US Coast Guard Approved statement on the lifejacket. To help keep your family safe in and around the water this summer, Parks and Recreation is offering swim lessons for ages 6 months and up. Swim lessons are offered in the mornings and evenings and are split into two-week sessions with five different sessions being offered during the season. For those looking for a way to exercise at the pool, register for Water Aerobics, Water Tone & Sculpt class or adult lap swim. Besides these great classes, each month hosts a special event.
