The goal of the Apache Junction Police Department is to provide citizens with the highest level of customer service by preventing criminal activity. As a small, close-knit community, we depend on citizens to inform us when activity observed is suspicious. We ask that you report anything that looks suspicious: you have a better idea of what looks suspicious in your neighborhoods than anyone else.
Citizens have several options to submit crime tips to police. If you have information relating to a crime that has already occurred you can submit an anonymous tip on the city web tip line or call telephonically to the Tip Hotline, both can be done anonymously.
If you would like follow-up on a tip you previously reported, you will need to write down the access code provided to you when you initially leave the tip. This access code will allow you to check on the status of your tip at a later time or date.Tips should never be used in place of 9-1-1. The tip line is checked on a daily basis but not manned 24 hours a day and should not be used for an in-progress event. If you have an emergency, please dial 9-1-1. If you need to report a crime that is not an emergency, please call the AJPD at (480) 982-8260.
If you have any questions, please contact Community Resource Coordinator at (480) 474-5442 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
