Have you been wondering how you can make a positive impact in our community during these crazy times but it’s just too hot outside?
One simple act can make all the difference to someone in need. Apache Junction Parks and Recreation is challenging its residents and businesses to help the community stay hydrated. To meet this challenge simply drop off a case (or more) of bottled water through Aug. 30 to one of our drop-off locations during their normal business hours.
Donated water will be distributed to those in need through our hydration partners, including Horizon Health and Wellness, Superstition Fire and Medical, Apache Junction police, Apache Junction Park Rangers, Genesis Project and Superstition Community Food Bank.
Multi-Generational Center, 1035 N. Idaho Rd.
Apache Junction Public Library, 1177 N. Idaho Rd.
Superstition Community Food Bank, 575 N. Idaho Rd., #701 (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.)
If you would like to donate but don’t have a way to drop it off please email email@example.com or call (480) 474-5119 to schedule a pick-up.
