The City of Apache Junction Public Works Department has ongoing projects located throughout the city.
Idaho Road Landform Graphics (ADOT)
Project Description: The work consists of constructing landform rock graphics in the form of coyotes on the roadway slopes at each of the four corners of the traffic interchanges (TI) of the US60/Idaho Road. The design and construction is using similar concepts used at the other US60 TIs within the city.

Southern Avenue and Meridian Road (MCDOT)
Intersection and Drainage Improvement Project
Project Description: The improvements will include installation of a traffic signal, sidewalk ramps, curb & gutter, street lighting and left turn lanes in all four directions. Drainage improvements include a three-barrel concrete box culvert drainage structure through the existing low water crossing to provide an all-weather crossing and concrete channel lining in the vicinity of the new culvert crossing.
