E-Waste Program
The City of Apache Junction is pleased to announce that it is teaming up with Dollar Self Storage facilities to offer a free service to the community to collect numerous types of electronic waste.Accepted items include: monitors, CPU’s, laptops, televisions, copiers, printers, scanners, microwaves and other small appliances. Items can be working or non-working. Other accepted items include: cables, telephone systems, cell phones, fax machines, answering machines and more.
Drop off locations and hours of operation are: Monday – Saturday 9 am – 6:00pm and Sundays from 10:00 – 3:00 pm. Two Dollar Storage locations available for drop-off locally are: 1441 E. Old West Highway and 2901 S. Winchester Road in Apache Junction.

- Catsup bottles (they're #7)
- Motor oil or any auto products bottles (can't get them clean)
- Styrofoam packing material
- Plastic “peanuts” for packing
- Butter tubs, cottage cheese containers, catsup bottles
- Paper plates, paper towel or toilet paper rolls
- Lids from tin cans or plastic bottles
- Blueprints
- Brown envelopes
- Sticky notes
- Aluminum anything, other than cans
- Plastic anything, except for jugs
