Apache Junction RIDE Choice
Apache Junction RIDE Choice, (AJRC) offers Mileage Reimbursement for qualified residents of Apache Junction.
Qualifications for both programs are the same: an applicant must be a permanent resident of the City of Apache Junction, age 60 and over or disabled adult
18-59 with disability certification and no longer driving. All applicants for reimbursement must have their own volunteer driver as AJRC does not provide drivers.
Brochure packets and further details are available as follows: call the Apache Junction Active Adult Center at
(480) 474-5260 to request a brochure or pick one up at the Center, 1035 N. Idaho Road. You can also print out an application below, fill it out and mail it in.

Who can apply for East Valley Ride Choice?
Permanent City of Apache Junction residents as follows:
- Senior citizens 60 and over
- Disabled adults 18 through 59
- Have a current AZ ID card
- AJ Ride Choice is for residents
- Who are unable to drive and do not have a car

East Valley Ride Choice Information
Apache Junction Ride Choice provides the freedom to schedule your own ride at a time convenient for you:
- Reimbursement: clients choose their own volunteer driver (non-residing friend, neighbor, or relative). Our program does not provide drivers. Mileage is paid to the passenger at 44 cents per mile for the purpose of reimbursing their volunteer driver when the passenger travels in the driver's car.
- Coupons for Cabs: Most qualified clients can purchase up to $100 worth of coupons every month. Their co-pay for each book containing ten $1 coupons is only $2.50. All orders are mailed at the end of each month.
