Start by Believing is a public awareness campaign uniquely focused on the public response to sexual assault.  Because a friend or family member is typically the first person a victim confides in after an assault, each individual’s personal reaction is the first step in a long path toward justice and healing. Knowing how to respond is critical—a negative response can worsen the trauma and foster an environment where sexual assault predators face zero consequences for their crimes.

The scheduled fingerprinting days for the public are on Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and on Thursdays from 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

A couple of reminders.  The Police Department does not do fingerprints for employment in an educational facility.  The cost for fingerprints is $10 per card.  The only acceptable forms of payment are cash or a money order.  The Police Department does not accept credit or debit cards.  There is no appointment necessary as fingerprints are done on a walk-in basis.

The Apache Junction Police is seeking your help in solving a cold case. On August 6, 1992, the heavily decomposed body of a female was found in the desert area south of US 60 and west of Idaho Road in Apache Junction, Arizona.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations is seeking assistance in locating fugitives for prosecution.  Homeland Security Investigations is responsible for combating a broad range of crimes against the United States and will apply all appropriate means to prosecute those who perpetrate them.

Homeland Security Investigations is vigorously pursuing efforts to apprehend fugitives who are deemed threats to national security.

Below is a link to the ICE Most Wanted fugitives page.  ICE is asking your assistance in locating these people.  If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of the persons listed on their site, you are asked to notify them (contact info on their site) or your local law enforcement agency.  Citizens should not approach these folks for safety reasons.
