The Building Safety Division is committed to public safety. We pledge to maintain the highest standards of integrity and treat all persons courteously, equally and fair. We will strive to serve the public efficiently, accurately, and in a timely fashion. 

The Building Safety Division coordinates the permit process including building plan review and subsequent inspections to ensure builidng code conformance. Building Safety also reviews civil engineering plans to ensure compliance with City Engineering Design Guidelines, State and Federal Codes and Regulations.  In addition, the Building Safety Division oversees the Proactive Abatement program.
