Housing and Community Programs work through partnerships with other governmental, both federal and state agencies, private and non-profit organizations to offer programs and services for the residents of Apache Junction.

Such programs include:

1) Housing Rehabilitation;
2) An annual Paint-a-Thon program;
3) Free tax preparation and programs to provide tax credits to low income households;
4) First-time homebuyer programs that include education and down payment assistance;
5) Foreclosure prevention counseling; and
6) Homeownership through Habitat for Humanity
