Apache Junction City Clerk's Office

The City Clerk’s Office administers the business licensing and the sales tax audit programs. 

The Clerk's Office provides public notices, maintains city ordinances and resolutions and administers the City archives and public records program, including maintenance, revision and publication of the City Code.

The Clerk’s Office is responsible for preparing and keeping meeting minutes of the City Council and board and commissions, monitoring state campaign finance law compliance and administering municipal elections in accordance with federal, state and local laws.

Important Note for Winter Visitors: Remember you can only vote where you are a resident. No one is allowed to vote in 2 different jurisdictions, to do so is a violation of the law. It is illegal for any person who has declared residency in another state to vote in any Arizona election. Penalties of jail time and a fine could be levied against any voter breaking this law.
