REVERSE LIGHT PARADE
Join the City of Apache Junction Parks & Recreation on Saturday, December 5th for a NEW take on our annual FREE Light Parade! We are switching up our annual Light Parade this year due to the current situation, but we are keeping our Holiday Spirit and are just going to host a Reverse Light Parade! The event will take place on North Apache Trail in front of Flatiron Community Park from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. This will be a drive-thru experience for families with all of the floats staged on both sides of the road in the adjacent street parking. As always, Santa Claus will be in attendance in the Fire Truck waving to all the good girls and boys of the community! All traffic will be traveling southbound on N. Apache Trail from Idaho Rd. The route will conclude at Apache Trail where you can view the City Christmas Tree at the Focal Point. After you exit onto the Trail, you will be able to drive around to check out all of the decorated businesses that are participating in "The Jingle in the Junction" event hosted by the AJ Chamber. PICTURES WITH SANTA
Families will be able to make an appointment to take a safe and socially distanced picture with Santa. Reservation times will be available every five minutes from 3pm-6pm on Saturday, December 5th at the Apache Junction Multi-Gen Center. RESERVATION REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION. There will be an acrylic barrier between Santa and the children/family. Masks must be worn by all family members upon entering the facility.
